How to Power Your Generator in Ark

Surviving in Ark is one thing, but thriving and living in luxury is another. To do this, you'll need to set up an electric generator to power your appliances and devices. The electric generator uses gasoline to generate electricity that it distributes to the connected electrical cables. The burning rate of gasoline is 1 in 60.

To start and stay turned on, you'll need a good water frame and a lot of metal. It's also a good idea to have some Lazarus soups or accumulated points in your oxygen level on hand. The electrical generator cannot currently be painted, however, it is possible that this object will be re-mapped to include the paint regions in a future update. Setting up an electric generator in Ark is quite simple.

You'll need to craft the manufacturer (35 metals, 20 of cement paste, 50 of spark dust, 10 of petroleum, 15 crystals) and an electric generator. This generator is capable of powering all normal electrical devices and is the only generator capable of powering Tek devices. Once you have the generator set up, you can power lamps, refrigerators, air conditioners, cryorefrigerators and the chemistry bank. To keep your generator running, you'll need to make sure you have enough gasoline and metal on hand.
